This is a poem that describes mental illness. I hope the stigma towards mental illness can be removed or at least decreased in the world.

A drunken dose of daydream sipped,

sweet as daffodil on dew swept day,

washes troubles

clean away,

but still

left empty,

hollow,

sad,

fully crazy,

completely mad.

~*~

Sometimes I think to myself

that I’m not

quite good enough

No, not

quite mature enough

to handle the world

like a rustle in the wind

Blown,

Failed,

Sinned.

~*~

Only my false mind

can truly banish thought

as when the battle’s fought

then can this world

be kind.
