Poem

My love I want you to hear out my notion

A few words about that emotion

An emotion that puts everything in motion

So I thought that I had enough

And that I was strong and tough

That I could survive without you love

My love since you’ve been gone

I found no reason or will to carry on

Felt that I wouldn’t see a new dawn

Then I felt the warmth of the sun

A reminder that I’m not yet done

And there is no reason for me to run

That I shouldn’t deny how I really feel

My love to you was my Achilles heel

But it’s time for this wound to heal

And don’t you dare be mistaken

I remember the oath that I’ve taken

My love for you will stay forever unshaken

Don’t believe my love that you’re alone

Or that you’re out there on your own

I will never be too far away or gone

It’s time for me to put myself out there again

Looking for someone to put an end to my pain

To be my cover when there is rain

So I want you to hear out my notion

A few words about that emotion

An emotion that puts everything in motion
