Dead Drop
One illuminating drop
(Sky tear) summons me
To hidden train stop
In god with no city.
Someone tears sky: me?
Vulture bearing down
On god? No, with the city
It's hard to hear the sound
Of vultures bearing down-
Hearted on the flesh.
It's hard to hear the sound
Of departing amidst the hush
Of a heart in flesh
And in stillness made bright.
Parting the mist and hush,
I step out on platform of light.
I'm made still and bright
(Though hidden at train stop).
I step off platform of light
One illuminated drop.
