Many novels on zombies have been written and many have been read. There’s always a variety in the novels that are out there on the subject or have them in them. World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks is another one of the many that are out there. The difference is that it’s written in interview style from people involved in an infectious zombie pandemic that had recently been fought off by the world’s armed forces. The interviews range from civilians running from the disease to members of the armed forces to a few of the politicians during the war.
Every perspective brings a different view of the pandemic, each very different yet the same from person to person. They go anywhere from the US to Turkey and many other countries. Gives details that all of them noticed about other human beings as well as the zombies (a.k.a. Zack’s, Ghoul’s, and G’s within the book). Gives an interesting perspective into what could happen if the “essentials” of modern society were to break down leaving us to the good old days of living with makeshift shelters and no electricity.
A good read for zombie lovers, psychology lovers, conspiracy theorists, and anyone who loves to read.
