Her own family was torn from the very start, so she continuously looks for someone to fill that gap. Yet, if her own blood can not love her, will anyone else? (I suck at summary's. >.>)

Year after year, the family falls apart.
The fighting began from the very start.
Within herself she hid, shielding her heart,
Yet slowly she expressed herself in her art.

In her mind, she remained a mistake,
Yet, somehow, friends she managed to make.
They came and they left, causing her to ache.
She had to accept that friendships... They break.

Torn apart family, fleeting friends,
Her determination was something to commend.
She struggles, she searches, she even pretends,
Yet somehow, every time they meet an end.

Finally, for once, she made a connection.
She found a friend who helped her in the right direction.
A new-formed family, filled with affection,
But had she not learned it all ends in rejection?

After all that, still she reaches for someone,
A family, a hope, someone to find the light of the sun.
Has she not learned that the fight will not be won?
Any progress she makes will just be undone.

Each time she breaks, it's harder to heal,
If ever someone cares, it seems too surreal.
She tries to hold on, tries not to reveal,
She doesn't wish to scare them away, so she conceals.

They find out, eventually, of all her scars.
Physically, mentally, everything's marred.
She holds on too tightly; soon they're so far.
And so she retreats within her mind, the bazaar.

It's happening again, or so she fears,
Most likely, it will all end in tears.
She's been nothing but worthless in her past years,
And still the goodbye will pierce her like spears.

All she truly wanted was a family, for someone to care,
She's already lost a sister, her skin already has tears.
Can she really believe that this brother is there?
All she can do is prepare for despair.
