THE MIGHTY DRAGON

Lo, and behold the mighty dragon of lore.

Higher than the clouds she can soar,

Announcing her arrival with a fiery roar.

She is not to be judged as heartless and a symbol of darkness.

She can stomp and cause earthquakes with her mighty paw,

Or slash and tear bone or stone with hooked claw.

With her mighty wings, she can create a powerful wind,

To cause rock and tree to bend.

Her beautiful, shimmering body is encased with scales of armor,

Spear nor sword can penetrate to harm her.

Her head is adorn with a crown of horn.

From her cat-like eyes of green,

All things far and wide can be seen,

From the heavens she calls home she can forever freely roam.

Not on this dragon can one soft spot be found,

Not even by chains can her spirit be bound.

She is like a majestic eagle in flight as her scales glitter in the moonlight.
