Beyond what we could ever see,
Comes what we always longed to be.
Our own desires bound in flesh,
Glides across the air drifting to the west.

But it's all for not. For from thee,
Bleeds a heart, the red tears that you weep.
Dripping with sorrow that we share.
Realizing, without hope, that we do not care.

In absence of hope we banish the pain,
To steel our heart, so we never wain.
No blood will flow, no trace of scars.
We will stand, with the darkness, to show what we really are.
