I have been feeling depressed lately so this only took me a few minutes to type. It's about feeling pain, being trapped, alone. Having to hide the pain with fake smiles and lies. Pretending to be happy, while inside your dying.

Smiles

Hiding behind fake smiles

Pretending to be happy

Dying inside

Breaking Down

Crying nonstop

Wishing someone would help me

Free me from this hell

Alone

Never to be helped

Never to be freed

Trapped inside forever

Hiding everyday

Pretending I'm happy

Hiding behind this mask

Tears streaming

When I'm alone

Wishing I could  be saved

Feeling the sting

From these cuts that will never heal

My heart will never be healed

From all the pain

Pain

All I feel is pain

Bleeding

Breaking

Why can't someone help me

Why can't I be freed from this hell

Hiding behind these stupid smiles

Pretending everything is fine

I wear a smile

But all I feel is pain

No happiness

Only pain

The old familar sting

From these cuts that will never heal

These cuts that will never stop bleeding

The pain begins to ebb away

Is someone helping me

No

Blackness

Slowly closing in

I embrace it

I do not fear death

The pain is fading

I hope it ends soon

I scream

No one hears me

I scream again

It was cut short

Blackness

Numbness

My blood has ran dry

Tears come no more

No familar sting

Only numbness

I was freed

Then trapped again

By this endless blackness

I was left alone

To roam the Earth alone

Feeling nothing

Blackness

At least the pain has faded

End
