I find life in the death of civility

Captive amongst my own minds mission

To blanket my senses to that of the night

The sun itself waves on and on

I fare thee well knowing the coming again

Will be far sooner than I could hope

I briskly race light to my spot

My own fortress of solitude

I shall soon find myself where I left thee

Backed against the tree
