I cannot be what I am today

I cannot see past this day

The light that bloomed

Has turned away

And we become

Much less today

Than what we were yesterday

Though I had turned to say

That we would be here to stay

You had left me alone today

And I lost mine own self to day

What would it be you say?

What would it be for me?

If you were here today

Gone, gone. You were today
