What We Want

(A semi-non rhyming poem by Trent Devenuci)

What we want for ourselves

Is the sin that we make

The greed the anger

For what we would take

Sometimes what we want is good or bad

Either way it's all the same

We always

Make someone

Sad

For what we want is not always good

The people you take it from

When love overcomes you

Or when green comes to spite you

Nobody knows how come

It is because people are greedy

Selfish

Dasardly

Distraught

Because nobody knows

That almost all of us

Deserve nothing more

Than to rot.

Regardless if it's love

Or a brand new car

We always steal from others

You fall for her

You climb for her

But always sombody falls.

Many don't know

How we should go

To get what we desire.

This Love This Hate

My heart will ache

My soul

Is a burning

Fire

Dedicated To The People Who Received The Email To Read This

Dedicated to all who I've told I love

Dedicated to all those I truly do love

Dedicated to anyone who reads this.
