American soldiers free as song, with the drums beating in their chest and their courage creating hope. They risk their lives for their friends and family. For the people they have never even met. To keep their home country safe and sound. Some make it home others are lost, with broken hearts and heavy tears those who's vessels made it home become ash to ash and dust to dust. Sad days and looming suns when it should be raining for the fallen linger. Those who make it back home with their spirits still in the vessels allow them to see their family's once more.

On this forth of July I think about all my loved ones who have served our Country. My father served 22 years in the Air Force, my mom's dad served in the army reserved only to retire and serve in the marines. I am proud of my family and I love them. American soldiers free and strong, march to the beat of the drums keeping us safe and keeping us calm. American soldiers go to battle when they're called, with their backs straight and heads up high they focus on the task at hand. They worry about coming home and seeing they're loved ones. While they're loved ones worry about seeing them safely at home safe and sound.
