You clutch your chest, the pain so harsh. The memories haunt you. The feelings destroy you. An empty heart, an empty life You curse the day the world turned blue; That aching day when your soul drifted away... Life didn't matter anymore -- The sorrow was too great. You look up to see the silver moon, You close your eyes and pray, You lean forward and wish, You drop your head and hope. Your mind drifts to the golden past; The day your heart went numb, Not of fear, of the excessive love you couldn't bear. Now you sit alone with your empty thoughts -- Shivering. Silent. Motionless. The silence soothes you -- until you feel once more. You look up to the silver of the moon -- That special place where you hope to see his face again.
