With a heavy heart i write this,

And with silent tears i type,

Time together i really miss,

And with a poem of heartache i describe,

How i still feel the hole in my chest,

And how it hurts me everyday,

My pain i still keep repressed,

Since the day you went away,

I could never truly reveal,

By using the art of rhyme,

How my heart will never heal,

Not even over time,

That day you earned your angel wings,

And you flew angelically away,

Was the day i learnt what life could bring,

And how the strongest of hearts decay,

Your absence leaves a gaping hole,

An irriplaceable void,

There's no repairing my damaged soul,

It's broken and destroyed,

Some day i know we'll meet again,

And i'll greet you with white flowers,

We'll talk about love and pain,

We'll sit and chat for hours,

They say you don't know what you had,

Until what you had is gone,

But when it's gone don't be to sad,

'Cause they'll be with you all along.
