Playing in front of his fans,

Belting out their favourite songs,

Stadiums will be sold out,

With everyone singing along,

Touring all over the world,

He plays to every major city,

Airports get shut down,

He gets a welcoming committee,

Girls and guys alike,

Are screaming out his name,

All fighting for a photo,

As their only claim to fame,

He lives up in the hollywood hills,

With other rich rockstars,

They all have big mansions,

And a fleet of expensive cars,

But sadly he's only a poser,

Who clings on to these dreams,

He's just a failed rockstar,

In a baggy shirt and skinny jeans,

The answers to his prayers,

Are at the bottom of his whiskey glass,

Drowning his endless sorrows,

With a distinctive lack of class,

He's just a weekend rockstar,

Shoving powder up his nose,

Slowly causing brain damage,

And his septum to decompose,

He picks up his guitar and amp,

And heads out in the street,

Hoping for a few quid,

To get some food to eat,

This is his fulltime job,

In the cold singing heartbreak songs,

About a failed and broken rockstar,

Who's trying to right his wrongs.
