When themes in dreams are recurring, is it predicting the future or summarising the long gone past? Can dreams be interpreted by yourself, or should someone else offer help objectively?

Another dream last night...

Inexplicable images

Telling of my soul so much.

Recurring actions,

Recurring places,

Things I can't solidly explain.

Hotels and residences,

Monkeys, and planes, and his book,

Someone else studying;

Why am I always washing dishes?

Images seeming random,

Actions really strange,

Do I let the monkey in the window - stop fighting -

Do I get on a plane?

Are my dreams history?

Are they foretelling: To Come?

Or am I over-analysing again,

From whence - and why - does the repetition come?

Lord, one thing, please...

Please may I just stop washing dishes

Can't everything just come clean?
