Driving to work, then back

On my way to work

Parked at the lights

Surrounded by dozens of people

To my left and right

On the freeway driving

Passing people driving

Drivers passing me

Dozens of people passing

By the end of the week

Hundreds, hundreds of people,

Have passed me,

Month-end, thousands of people.

We share the air, sky and clouds

The tarmac, the rain and sun

And I don’t even know their names,

Not even their registration…
