Written for a brother from another mother who can't express himself honestly or truthfully. He can't see he is annoying someone else! His muse should be a pet / his work / his family / his girlfriend, not the girl he is stalking... But boys never listen, no matter how much girls tell them something...

InYour Muse’s shoes

I can’t pin her down

Earthy yet divine

A goddess and a clown

Faith-filled yet sanguine

A sexbomb and minister

I can’t really decide

If she wants to be a spinster

Or a blushing bride

Meredith Brookes

Her signature tune

With her head in books

And life lived in lieu

Artist, child, sister,

Writer, dancer, chef

Never with a mister

Always impeccably dressed

A smell made for poetry

A smile made for rhyme

A body so sultry

Eyes that stop time

A mind that drives me wild

A tongue razor sharp

Leaving me riled

Yet tugging at my heart

She’s so wrong and so right

So mixed up and straight down the line

A soft touch, a dangerous bite

A genuine golden land mine

Lonely, loved; angel, devil;

Innocent queenly maid;

A follows the rules rebel,

Knowledgeably afraid

She blesses me with inspiration

Constantly inconsistent

I’m under her poison and seduction

Alas, I love every instant

I know she finds me annoying

And incredibly rude

Coz I never asked her permission

I just decided to intrude

She thinks I’m a pain in the backside

Because I don’t come clean

But how do you tell a crazy woman

That you think she’s a queen?

So now, alas, she’s my muse

And everything about her I shall use
