In Transit

There’s so much confusion to be found;

Hardships loiter all around;

Clashes, smashes; echoing sounds;

The surrounds of life getting me down.

Smog hides truth,

Exhaustion clouds faith,

Life’s roots unwatered, oxygen gone, dehydrated.

Nowhere seems safe.

I know I’m deflated

Crashing through the paces

Life seemingly wasted

One being in a world of spaces;

Killing time only to survive,

As days pass by… and bye and bye…

I have to make myself strive

To find purpose before wasteful demise
