Sometimes things are not what you thought they were

Moving Scared

My core has locked into a knot

Tied tight with anxiety

The truth you created, was not,

Danny, the truth, its scaring me

I found your notes on the net,

Horrors that I never dreamed,

Posted up without regret,

Copies of your soul it seemed

Reading about your double life,

Drugs, addiction, prostitution,

Maybe even a child and wife.

Is there also a conviction?

You kept the truth so far from me,

Now the fear is set in my soul,

Danny, why did you lie to me?

Please Danny; please, just let me go

a cry from the heart. It is good to vent these feelings. The answers, I hope you find, if indeed you truly want to know.

Clearly I do not know Danny, but human nature is such that when we have wronged we hide it away for fear of recininations and once that course is taken it is very difficult to back track. It is often a case that we fear the lose of what we truly want if the truth were out. Society can be an unforgiving beast.

I wish you happiness and Danny inner peace (which can only come from reconciliation with ones self)

A touching poem Shannan, a sad plea and human dilema.

If I were qualified to give advise (which I am most definately not) I would say three things. Be compassionate, keep an open mind, but above all see things as they really are and use your head.

let your heart lead and your head decide.

Wow! Thanks for your kind words Dibs :-) This is a metaphorical poem for what I don't understand... Love, unconditional love, isn't 'society'. So if there's genuine love, then there should be honesty, not fear.

I was born with a soul that can inherently and unconsciously give love unconditionally, and, a mind that doesn't understand 9and seldom likes) it's soul connection. I get hurt over and over and over again.

The question: Which is the better path, lies that hurt, or love that hurts? Life in fear, or life in love? I can only be with someone who chooses the latter.
