The poppies are out,

on cars, in cars or even being worn.

The money is being donated,

to a special chariety.

As we wear these poppies to show respect,

as we stop whatever we are doing to remember...

remember the lives lost in all wars.

2 minutes of silence,

2 minutes of rememberance, and

2 minutes of respect...

On the 11th hour ,

of the 11th day,

of the 11th month.

As the planes fly over the fields,

dropping the poppies,

dropping the wreaths.

As they soar through the sky,

like eagles soaring round a valley.

They drop the poppies when they knw the time is right,

flying through the fields for everyone to see,

and dropping the poppies into the fields...

On the 11th hour,

of the 11th day,

of the 11th month.

As the parades are making their way through towns and cities,

Territorails, cadets and all,

dressed in their #1 uniforms for this one specaial occasion.

The miltary band is playing,

soldiers, cadets and marines marching slowly though,

showing their respects for the lost lives,

marching through these cities and towns...

On the 11th hour,

of the 11th day,

of the 11th month.

As people stop what they are doing,

as they stand in their places,

For a special, quiet 2 minutes.

The wreathes are ready,

in shapes of crosses and hearts and filled with poppies,

as people slowly make their way forwards to lay them down,

at the war memorials...

On the 11th hour,

of the 11th day,

of the 11th month.

This is the day for everyone to remember,

the day no one should forget.

As we should spend the day wearing a poppy,

showing that we care.

As we all know that this is the day...

the day that the war ended all those years ago,

but it has become a day to remember all lives lost in all wars,

so we spend just 2 minutes thinking and remembering these dreadful battles...

On the 11th hour,

of the 11th day ,

of the 11th month ,

of the year.

RIP to all those soldiers who have lost their lives serving their countries or are out there now with their lives ont the line.
