HOW AMAZING YOUR WONDROUS WAYS

This poem got me through,on my sadness day's

I used to live in a life full of confusion.
I had no one around to call or trust as a friend.
But you come and heal my sickness.
You strengthen me from the inside out.
You know me better than anyone.
You know my every thought before I do.
You know my every need, and I thank you.
My life was a BIG mess when I gave it to you.
By each passing day, you performed miracles within me.
I had difficulty forgiving myself.
But you forgave me all over and over again.
As I gave you the very first place of my life.
Help me to think before I act.
And now I will fear NO more, am not turning back.
‘cause I have set my feet on your path.
Every day and every night I wake within your strength
Say thank you, what a blessing for me to find.
How amazing your wondrous ways, Lord
You prepared a wonderful future for me ahead .
I’m so grateful for your tender mercies.
I feel confident and brave as you guiding me.
I praise you for your endless love and compassion.
THANK YOU, LORD

The flow was a little rough, but I'm going to be honest, I don't really care. The theme of the poem in and of itself was enough to pull at the corners of my smile. I just went to a religious retreat over the weekend, and so I totally get where this is coming from. A sweet prayer in the form of a poem, and how wonderful it grew to be!!
