Every night she would walk in there. Her feet naked, being caressed by the hard cold floor. She had no obligation, no responsibilities, no duty. So what pulled her here? Did she come willingly? What was this insurmountable amount of force? Where did it originate? Where was the beginning? The root of it all?

She did not have any answer.

She doesn't remember the first day she came. But then she doesn't remember any of the days. She doesn't retain any memories. But only feelings. The feelings are still fresh. A fresh one plucked every day from her plethora of emotions corresponding to a new experience every day, every hour? every instance perhaps?

She feels the pain from that night. She doesn't feel those animals. Were they men? How could they be even humans?

She feels the ruthlessness of each of the bodies one by one tearing her body apart. She doesn't remember if she cried. She doesn't retain the memories. She doesn't remember how the dark skies turned to white walls. She doesn't remember ever getting out of the white bed. She doesn't remember ever being without the oxygen mask, the saline drip, the ....

But she doesn't retain any memory. Only her feelings. She can't see. She can't talk. She can't move her body. Her feelings will always be with her.
