Its the most beautiful love story that I can create.

There was one whose gravity pulled upwards instead of down. She was tethered to the earth by the cords of her heart. The weight of space threatened to carry her up into its embrace. Sometimes when she exhaled fully her body would be lifted slightly and would begin to float away. As soon as awareness would find her, would she inhale and fall slowly back to earth, shuddering with longing. For there at the edges of her concious, memories would brush their fingertips, inviting her to remember. There a vague face, and here a particular smell. The rush these fleeting thoughts caused were uncomparable to even the strongest hallucinagens. In an effort to satisfy the need these memories placed on her, she began to travel her days through the shattered concience of another. The man took her hand, and showed her the path to his suffering. In the process he broke her soul. He tore it to pieces and burned each end. Then he chuckled, and walked back into his misery, leaving her defeated and swimming in the terror of her heart. She found herself floating more than ever now. Every breath was a concious focus of will. The sky said come, and one day at the end of her suffering, she did. Exhaling one last time, she flew and sky, space, and the clouds surged with joy. Walking on the rays of the sun, she heard a sound that exceeded her every anticipatation. For there walking among the stars was her other half, the man who had been unable to come. The man who had forgotten how to breath and had floated away. The man who had touched her conciousness from millions of miles away in hopes that she would find the courage to forget. As she looked at him, bitterness replaced the happiness, because now she remembered. Now she remembered that he had left her and had not stayed. So she walked away among the meteors alone, and finally accepted herself to be whole.
