The world is cloaked with warming colors. Gusts of cool wind blow nature's little things and sways the large; embrace the feel of being alive and accept the challenge to stay alive. The little things drains as our attention is taken away by the worries of surviving. Our bodies have a job to do. Let them do it, let our brains think but not on things that can slow us down. Let your mind go and explore and let it do its job that it was designed to do. Why be so serious ninety-nine percent of the time? Allow time to enjoy what has been given to you even if all you can spare is the last one percent. Here, take my hand and embark on a journey with me away from the cold and shattered world; our feet trotting the soil with every step. You know you are alive and stable as gravity holds you in place as the earth spins blindingly. The air is light as it tours our lungs as they swell and deflate with the joy of freshness and your blood enjoys the rich oxygen as your heart pumps freely without worry of anything else but doing its duty. Your muscles flex their fibers, giving you vital strength to explore our vast beautiful home made just for us. Your mind is eased by the things you see as your eyes scan the horizons of this precious jewel we occupy that floats in the deep black ocean of space. Why would you not want to see this place? Our first stop of exploration is a place oh so familiar but somehow gets lost because of the impaired sight the world sets on us. This place will give your sense a mix of thrill and a soothing coast through this warm colored, crisp wonderland. Indulge with me your senses to the full in this place. Drown your thoughts in this dwelling to gather unconsciousness of the world you have left behind. Feel the bark of the sturdy trees, feel the breeze kiss your skin as it cool warmth embraces your very frame engulfing it entirely. Hear the crunch of the leaves that have left their branch to color the ground and give amusement to your eyes. Smell the crisp woods, fill your nose with various foliage of trees and spices that the earth has made. Taste fresh water flow from the nearby spring, along with the savory sweet fruitage that the earth has yielded to you and what the animals share from their harvest. Listen to the song of the trees as the grand orchestra of boughs construct their melody to you. The branches and foliage sway to the invisible symphonic breath of the earth as it inhales and exhales  sending the grass and leaves in a harmonious lean. Close your eyes for a second and sway with them. Now, see, the blades of grass delicately change their green coats and clothe themselves with different shades of brown. Leaves gracefully fall, riding the wind, with their rich colors of singed oranges. See them dancing on the wind, swirling, twirling, drifting, burnt yellows, vibrant reds, and gentle roasted browns. I must say dying never looked so beautiful. Look! The world has instantly been covered with a dreamy dreary filter as the sun hits the natural figures and curves of land and they give off a beautiful hazy sparkle. The bare grounds and roads are decorated with these as the wind softly glides the leaves along their way as they dance to the song of autumn. Will you dance? The fields are full of harvest and awaiting our pounding feet. The days are shorter and lazy as the haze of the sky sleeps near the earth. Lakes and rivers are still with no movement, reflecting like glass the multicolored skies, whether when the sun dawns its golden light or setting leaving memorizing colors that dress the sky. The animals work for their winter rest as they scurry adding a tune to the autumn song. Can you sing and join in the chorus? Are you enjoying this journey? When someone engages their senses in something their senses become that of what they take in especially when one looks at something. I'd like to think their eyes change. Can you see it? Do you have these eyes? I clearly see the wonders and beauty of this season as I view it through my autumn eyes.
