I've been a cheater my whole life. Lessons never learnt. Bad habits never broken. Bridges often burnt. Excuses are like assholes. And shit sticks to shit. I always play along and try to justify it. Making the same mistake. Doing it over again. Living with the guilt and losing all my friends. Giving in to temptation I lack discipline and respect. Not thinking of the hurt Or the painful consequence. The lives I have torn apart. The actions I repeat. Begging for forgiveness when my lies catch up with me. I want to love the right way. It's time to act my age. But a leopard never changes its spots And I guess I'm just the same.
