Darkness is inevitable,
shrouding us with it,
it marks the end of a day,
creating a peacful end,
beautiful stars now visible,
and a glorious full moon on show.
Darkness can scare people,
the not knowing what's where,
knowing that anything as possible,
like your concealed from reality,
but with darkness making you blind,
you are unable to know.
Darkness is magical,
all manner of animals can now be heard,
small insects, to the hooting from owls,
scurrying mice, and nighttime cats,
the gentle swoosh of the wind,
and the howling dogs.
Darkness is beautiful,
the feeling of being able to see,
yet only through touch, sound, smell,
and more importantly through the heart,
and through the soul, feeling it while it's raw,
The strength it can bring to emotion leaves me in awe.

I love this poem too! I read alot of books with dark scary stuff, so this reminded me of all those books! Wonderful!

Thankyou, haha most of my poems are based on a change i see whether it is daytime to nighttime or a change within myself, i embrace it and write down parts of it in a poem, i try to be true to myself so that indeed it is truw to the word, Thankyouu for saying great work, i really do appriciate it! :)?
