This is just a poem I wrote about what happened in Virginia Tech after I was talking about it with my friends

Please, please don't kill me. That's all I have to say.

Don't end MY life because YOU hated yours. You know it shouldn't be that way.

Yet, you picked up your gun, and you brought it to school.

What did I do, to make you act like a fool?

I know you were mad, I just don't understand why.

Why, did you pull that trigger, and make so many families cry?

If you knew it was wrong, and you knew it caused so much pain...

Then why did you do it> How could you do it?

I did nothing to you. Most of the people you KILLED did nothing to you!

Don't you get it? You were mad. You took your anger out on us.

You shouldn't have done it. You knew there was another way!

You could have gotten help! Then you wouldn't have died, I wouldn't have died, a lot of people wouldn't have died.

Families wouldn't be torn apart, missing their loved ones. And WE, the people you killed, could've been something.

I could've been a surgeon! I could've saved people's lives!

But now I can't/ Because you took MINE!

You didn't have to kill me. You didn't have to end MY life because YOU hated yours. It was not supposed to be that way.

That's all I have to say.
