When I was young the path was clear

The world so full of light

But as I got older that light began to dim

Along with my innocence

I lost my way and became someone I never should’ve been

My path had started off in the right way

But got more confused as I wondered further away

The next thing I knew I looked up

And had no idea who I was

I let out a cry and fell to my knees

Bowed my head and prayed

My old friend had found me

And saved my life that day

The name of my friend is short and simple, Faith.
