You look in my eyes and your question is there.

I look back in yours and answer I'm here.

You take my hand and slowly we walk.

At this point in time there is no need for talk.

We stop and you look into my eyes just once more.

I look back at you and step a little closer.

Gently you take me into your arms.

Here I feel safe and can come to no harm..

Softly we sway to the music we hear.

I feel your heart beating as you hold me near.

The words to the song are distant and blurred.

Your whispers to me are all that I've heard.

Now you pull me just a little closer to you.

I rest my head on your shoulder,  this feeling is new.

I reach up and place a soft kiss on your neck.

My composure has become a total train wreck.

Your hands I can feel as they move down my back.

Softly and gently no warmth do they lack.

I could stay here forever and just feel your touch.

This feeling you're giving I've craved oh so much.

I'm lost in this moment and don't want it to stop.

Ready to end it, I'm most definitely not.

The music is ending and I'm wanting much more.

As you once again take my hand

and lead me from the dance floor.
