Wanting to Make a Difference
Wanting to make a difference, to turn someone's day around;
To put a smile upon their face and replace that lonely frown.
Wanting to make a difference, to let them know I care;
To break through the wall of indifference that they always want to wear.
Wanting to make a difference, no matter what the cost;
If no one tries and no one cares then another may be lost.
Wanting to make a difference, just one person today to touch;
A smile, a hug, a kind word said can mean so very much.

Another fine poem, Sherry--I'm glad we're the kind of people who care!
