how ironic, im using the title of my novel for the title of my poem... They actually relate to each other, and I'm going to do something that's probably never happened before: Im going to include two separate point of views into this poem :D hope u like it!

I fight my own memories, my own past,

I fight against how I feel,

I'm in denial,

And I'm tempted,

to kiss those immortal lips,

I know it's wrong,

Or so I keep telling myself.

There's more to me than meets the eye,

It's dangerous,

And my past is the key,

to the Door of Future,

which one do I choose?

my past, or my present?

He is Forbidden.

I watch her suffer,

I watch her breathe,

I watch her sleep,

I'm with her, everywhere she goes,

I feel this desire,

Coursing through my immortal veins,

It drives myself and my brothers insane,

It makes me want to lash out,

It breaks my heart,

to watch her go,

A blue-green tear,

crawls down my cheek.

I know it's wrong,

We know it's wrong.

It's dangerous.

I can't stop thinking about her.

She's the Forbidden Fruit,

hanging over our greedy heads,

she's out of reach,

the Forbidden Fruit.
