The Fall

I fell free,

His last words boom across the world,

It's a never ending fall,

an irreversible decision,

I made my choice,

I broke the rules,

I was never meant to fall in love,

Yet here I am, falling,

Feathers turning black,

and flying upwards,

my wings disappear,

Tears fall free,

Heaven itself weeps,

and Earth embraces me.
