When you think you're stronger.
Or you have mistakenly viewed your weakness as strength?

It might be confusing when you're stronger.

It could be fulfilling as well.

But it's much perplexing if you're aware that in the end, you could be the one who would stand still.

When you know you can be independent.

He calls you. And when not, you're fine.

Because you have lived without it for some time.

He always wishes to see you, yet you don't feel the same.

You're used to being alone and enjoying yourself in solitary.

Not that you're a loner, but because you can.

He shares his sorrows with you. You listen, yet ever, the role never changed.

You don't believe anyone. You believe in yourself.

He is happy when he's with you. To you, it's neutral.

Sometimes it's there, sometimes it fades. No consistency.

He lets you know his dreams and ambitions. You study his eyes.

You see his weakness; you see his lows, because you turned your back.

You are so ahead, you thought.

He can't live without you.

You can live without him.

He loves you. And you cannot love him.

Because you're stronger.

When You're Stronger
When you thought you're stronger, but you're actually fearful.

I understand this experience, in a creative way. It's hard to settle for less, yet you're torn be someone who truly needs you. How much to let them drain from you? And is it better to cut it off now before the pain of the inevitable breakup strikes?

Dare one lose themselves by merging with a lesser?
