The rains have turned black

The days are no longer bright

Because she will not come back

Not will return the morning light.

Days were when she was there

Times were when she was around

Days were when I had someone to care

Times were when life made a happy sound

Now there I stood Near the soul less body of my wife

Dropping tears was all I could But those couldn't Bring her alive

Friends and family consoled my heart And the priest spoke the chants

Just like the wedding where

Except the tears were smiles and where I and my wife danced.

No longer could I hold the tears

But she had taught me to smille

I would smile and laugh

Smile and laugh if smiling would bring her alive.

And I fell apart.....
