I want a real love

Something that will last

And never fade.

I want a real man

Who makes me feel the warmth

When I'm standing in the shade.

I need honesty

Someone that is sincere

And tries not to lie.

I need trust

That can go both ways

Because I can't handle another goodbye.

I want happiness

When all I wanna do is cry

And the tears begin to shed.

I want comfort

When I'm falling apart

And you put me back together instead.

I need passion

When we kiss and we touch

When we become intertwined.

I need possession

To be your one and only

I want to call you mine.

I want true feelings

Never holding back

Always giving our all.

I want to smile

When nothing's going right

And everything's about to fall.

I need a man strong enough to fight

Without any doubt

Because ruin us it just might.

A man who doesn't run scared

Who's been through his past and faired.

One who will dream of marryin' me

Because for once I'm the only thing he wants

Just me bein' me.
