A MOTHERS LOVE??

Once you were only a sparkle in my eye,

A baby boy was born naive, Unknowing and shy.

?

Until one day it seems as life as flown by,

Seeing my beautiful innocent baby boy growing up

First crawling, then walking and learning to fly.

?

No more hugs and kisses

Mom I’ll be home soon as he says goodbye,

Now I lay my head on a different pillow

Reflecting of memories as I endlessly cry.

?

As he enters life as a young man

His mind changes, time quickly passes him by,

Stern rules and a soft voiced friend,

was all part of my plan,

to watch him take those steps into life's challenges

While he soars to fly.

?

I see my baby boy growing up with responsibility;

He needs to learn and to try.

To realize in his lifetime that true love

And support will always be close by.

????
