It's about how we get caught up thinking about the past so much that we stop living in the present moment.

Sometimes everything feels like an illusion,

coz nothing is to ypur discretion.

The clutches of the past hold you so tight,

it totally blurs the sight.

Mind revels only in reverie,

which is either pleasent or eerie.

It holds the power to provoke,

tears, laughter, joy and hope.

How easily is forgotten,

the present moment's importance.

What we have is not embraced,

rather we remember the moments of disgrace.

Why can't we see?

that life is as it should be.

The greatest gift of life is to be cherished,

and not  let true happiness perish!
