State of Solvency
She draws herself to herself,
And formes a shell around her,
Without any complaints and regrets,
At the twilight of her life.
Perhaps, she knows the plays of this world,
And ready to accept whatever has to be offered,
No moaning and no crying,
Just watches the world passing by.
Still she cares so much about her kin,
With her aged wisdom, guiding everyone,
Which seems an intellectual's thought,
She is a real figure of selfless service.
Old age had no mercy to anyone ever,
And with no exception, she's old and frail,
But still she walks her way alone,
Saying in silence"My Dear, no help needed".
She raised her children to stand on their own,
She cared her grandchildren with profound love,
She even helped her grandchildren raise their babies,
With so much love to offer, never asking anything in return.
Now standing at the last station of her life,
Not ready to culminate her helping hand even now,
Complacency vieling her and draped beautifully in solvency,
She is none another than a woman of substance.
Nothing to take with her from this materialstic world,
She is above all these transient mundane charms ,
No wrong deeds, only good wishes to gather,
With pride one can say she is in a state of solvency.
