Trichotillomania (Trich for short.)is an impulsive control disorder in which the person who has it has the irresistible urge to pull out their own hair. This disorder may affect as much as 4% of the population. Women are four times more likely to be affected than men.
Many of us bite our nails,Trich isn't just a habit like that,it's an addiction,it's something you absolutely cannot control. I wrote this because this is how I feel and what goes through my head everyday and I know many other people like me go through the exact same thing. I would really appreciate it if you didn't put negative comments down, please don't.
