I wrote this in about five minutes. My apologies for any typos. :)
I haven't done any poetry like this yet. It's sort of like a short story with a poetic feel.

While night falls
In this quiet little town
While everyone is eating dinner
Watching TV, trying to settle down

Darkness starts to creep
And, oh no, it's not the sunset
If you meet this darkness
You'll surely regret

A lot of teens
Ages sixteen to ninteen
Gather at night
To keep secret
Of what they're hiding

One is quite hairy
At night he can only change
One drinks blood
One eats brains

One is busy
Making voodoo dolls
And casting spells
One haunts you
One comes straight from Hell

They aren't fiction
They're very much real
How they became this?
I really shouldn't tell

But, on Halloween night
Many years ago
Something happened to these kids
That has never been told

As they came from a party
A few drunk
And wanting to have some fun
Found an old mansion
Oh, they shouldn't have gone

But, in they went
Laughing and joking
Though they were unaware
Of the terror that was waiting

On the wall by the stairs
That lead to a magical door
Was a framed letter
Written with warn

"On All Hallows Eve
If you enter this room
Your future will darken
You will be forever doomed

Please, take this advice
Leave while you can
If you go inside
You'll never be the same again"

The one with a broom cackled
She thought it was for laughs
Everyone agreed
The warning, they passed

Up the stairs
All walking to eternity
Forever as the creatures
They were disguised as
On that night so haunting

Careless, oblivious
Naive and immature
Ignoring the immortality
They were about to endure

A ghost
A witch
A demon
A werewolf
A vampire
And a zombie
Forever creatures
That are in horror movies

When advice is given
It's always best to take
Don't think for one moment
That you know your fate

Don't ever stop believing
Don't ever stop being scared
Because one day
You might just become
Something you used to fear
