I wonder aimlessly through the night

My constricted skin swallowing moonlight

The mud coloured hair that hangs from my scalp

Withered like old string, I am forced to drag it along

My soul is the dress that clings to my decaying bones

It once bore the purest white

But after years of sleeping in tainted lakes

It has faded to a sour yellow,

No different to the teeth that I hide behind my lips

No more haunted than my eyes

When I gaze into an eclipse
