I hope you like it.

The Words that Lingered
I thought once of when we were young
The years, as I look back with chears,
On the days of joy and ones of tears
The day when you, my love, had sung
The words that rung from an antique tongue
The ones I heardd with naive ears
That lingered in my heart for years
And in that heart, thou and I had hung.
Lo! My heart has excelled
For it has the space for two
I cherish thee, no bidding farewell
Have we hung in thou heart too?
Yes! Destiny can do no repel
And when the question comes to tell
Let the silver answer ring "I do!"
