I wrote this poem in class as amateur at the age of 14.It's about the ghost of a young girl who's parents never paid her any attention so eventually she died of a lonely heart. Some may think it disturbing but some of us have actually felt this girl's feelings. She's reminded that her faith in God was the only thing she ever needed. She was not alone.

To The Sad Girl On The Swing,

Little girl,

Why is it so,

That you’ve sat there,

since long ago?

You swing alone in the breeze.

Listening though to swaying trees.

Why do you cry?

Why do you moan?

Is it because you are forever alone?

Deep inside you is a tortured heart,

Because someone cold has ripped it apart.

They never listened,

They never cared,

No play time was ever spared.

So you sat there in the scorching sun,

Waiting for the courage to finally run.

Oh little girl,

It’s a terrible tale.

Someone left you, so young and frail.

Little girl one the swing,

We are not alone,

We have our King.
