A deep, endless, hole

Fills my mind

Penetrates my soul

It is as black as night

As deep as the sea

And never ends

So when I trip, I fall forever

But on a narrow ledge I land

There is someone there to catch me

But how can I fill in

The gap in my heart, the hole in my soul

If no one understands me

Needing someone to listen, without commanding

Or judging,

I fall

Because everyone will judge a heart with a hole in it.
