Before I met you,
I had no idea that stars existed across the sky
It had always seemed so dark and bleak to me.

I never noticed the shades of purple and grey,
Always thinking it was black and blue.

I never noticed I was a hurricane.
Spinning around and around
About to crush myself and everyone around me
-Until you became my rock.

I never had a problem before
With spilling words out of the ink from my pen,
Or with the words that rolled off my tongue
But baby,
After I met you,
I was never able to form a single word that represented how I felt for you.

At first I thought I only just loved you.
Now I know.
That I am utterly in love with you.

And that terrifies me to death.

Because
I was raised to believe that
A girl's heart cannot revolve around a boy
-That giving my heart away
-Would be giving my soul, my mind, my body.
Myself,
To someone who could just walk away and leave.

But my dear,
If I have to suffer the lost of myself after a long, good run with you.
I am willing to do it,

For it is worth every single pain.

And I have come to realize,

Without you,
I am a walking zombie,
Surviving only on flesh and blood.
No soul within me.
No emotions.
No more love.

And my love,
You are my heart and soul now.
You terrify me to death
-But the prospect of living a life with you,
Excites me and gives me joy I have never felt before.

And no, I don't just love you anymore.

I am in love with you.
