Life. Unrequited love. The path we all walk on as individuals. Trying to catch the next train to achieve our most wanted goals. But sometimes, we can't always get what we want. For my beloved sisters. Feedback is appreciated, thanks for reading! :) I suggest listening to a melancholic song for effect while reading this, it's really nice :D

She stands alone in the mist,

Forever walking alone upon the railroad tracks,

Always looking,

Always searching,

But always failing.

In the dark of the night,

She hears a hoot,

Loud and clear

And reaching out for the bright lights

That almost seemed to embrace her,

It runs an inch pass her,

So close,

Yet so far.

With her head hung low

But shoulders squared,

She moves on

New found bruises across her arms,

And scratches upon her hands,

From reaching out,

Trying to grab the light,

The bar that promises her the love she longs for.

So close.

So far.......
