Hurry up I’m just in time,
its 7.00am out of bed I climb.
Up and showered ready to begin,
to start the day tornado spin.

Hurry up to keep the time,
kids awoken from bedtime.
Thrown in washed one by one,
dried and ready, here they come!

Hurry up roughly on time,
washing now out on the line.
Uniforms, socks and shoes upon,
shine them, no don’t, too late, put on!

Hurry up almost on time,
need to feed those pets now mine.
Vac the floor, make the beds,
come on kids eat some spreads!

Hurry up nearly on time,
the day is nice the sun will shine.
Cup of tea with a splash of milk,
down it goes without a look.

Hurry up lost precious time,
in the bag the homework signed.
Oh damn the lunches; bread and butter,
honey, jam, whatever, peanut butter!

Hurry up no longer time,
haven’t brushed your hair in time.
Where’s your shoes you took them off,
whatever for, you had your socks!

Hurry up we’re now behind,
brush your teeth and make them shine.
In the bags the lunches thrown,
buttons missing, one quickly sewn.

Hurry up its past school time,
one by one they start to shine.
Need to go now we’re very late,
the bell to ring need to be at the gate.

Hurry up we’re tardy this time
one by one they’re dropped in line
With a sigh I’m off to work again
until tomorrow another mayhem!
