Standing tall, back to the wall.
Shudder,  hear the soldiers call.
"Ready arms!” The soldier cried!
My breath is short, my hands are tied.
I cannot see, they made me blind
The hood I wear, they call it kind
My heart is strong, it’s pumping fast
This breath I take, it is my last
“Two women slain!,” they justly claim
“The devils work, you’ll have the same”
Last words? He asks. Voice full of glee.
“Aye,” I breathe. ” It wasn’t me.”
