sometimes you never see the rainbow
and sometimes you never smell the roses
nor hold her hand under the moonlight
but don't be like me and never hear
her say I do

I had felt the heavens with her touch
and smelled the fields of glory in her hair
yes I felt the burning of her eyes
then threw it all away with all the
things I do

never stop with today when so many tomorrows
are waiting
don't end with one kiss when her lips search
for more
and never let the little things drive her away
from you

see the rainbows in her smile
smell the roses in her hair
walk on the moonpaths together
and beg her to say I do

for tomorrow may never come for you
